Sample Group Itineraries

Day 1
Arrival - Guests arrive at Eagle County Airport and are transferred by shuttle van or bus for the short 40 minute ride to their hotel or condo in Vail.

Group Registration - Group services staff members can help with registration materials, lift ticket distribution, Nastar race and Adventure Ridge sign ups and attend the pre-con meeting. There will also be a Ski & Snowboard School staff member on hand at the hotel to sign guests up for their private ski school lessons the next day. This person will be responsible for level assessment, registration, and getting clients to sign their liability forms.

Day 2
Private Ski Instruction - Guests will meet their ski instructors at the hotel. At this time, lesson participants will be split into groups based on their skiing ability given the night before. A Ski & Snowboard School guest service staff will also be on hand to ensure all groups are matched up and ready to ski!

Larkspur Lunch - After the morning instruction, guests will meet for lunch at the Larkspur restaurant at the Golden Peak Lodge. Cross-Country Skiing or Snowshoe Tour - A Nordic certified instructor will pick up guests at their hotel and drive them to the Nordic Adventure Center for a half-day clinic.

Game Creek Restaurant Dinner - Guests will ride the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead and transfer to awaiting snowcats for the ride to Game Creek Club. Vail Group Services staff will be present to guide guests throughout the process. The Group has use of this elegant European style chalet for cocktails and dinner. The evening will begin with passed hors d'oevre and cocktails and then a four-course menu will be served.

Day 3
Ski With the Legends - Have private ski instruction or a private race clinic with famous ski celebrities such as Chad Fleischer.

Sarge's Shelter Lunch - After skiing with world-famous athletes, travel to mid-Vail for your own private BBQ lunch buffet.

Group Photo - A Sharpshooter photographer will meet the group at Sarge's to take a group photo. 'Vail 2005' will be printed on the base of each picture. The group leader will order a pre-arranged amount of photos.

Dinner - Guests will be on their own for dinner this evening to sample any of Vail's 100 restaurants.

Day 4
First Tracks - Be the first group to hit the fresh powder of the day in the world-famous Back Bowls followed by a private, mountain-top breakfast.

Lunch Vouchers - Let your group spread out on the mountain on their own leisure for the last day. Hand them a lunch voucher to eat at most any of our on-mountain venues.

Adventure Ridge & Farewell Dinner - Ride the Eagle Bahn gondola up to our mountain-top activity center. Guests will have signed up for one of the many activities at the opening registration. Adventure Ridge offers kids snowmobile, ski biking, ice skating, tubing and more. A private room on the third floor of Eagle's Nest will be reserved for cocktails, appetizers and dinner following Adventure Ridge.

Day 5
Departures - Group members will depart the hotel back to Eagle County Airport.
