-We provide the most advanced and personalized adaptive ski instruction at a discounted rate for the adaptive guest
-We assess all individual needs prior to arrival to ensure that the correct equipment is available.
-We provide experienced adaptive ski instructors for one-on-one private instruction.
-The goal is to extend the thrill of skiing and snowboarding to guests of all ages and disabilities.

Adaptive skiing applies to ski/snowboard instruction of individuals with special needs. It's about adapting the ski equipment for each person's unique needs and adapting the ski instruction as well. The Vail Adaptive Ski Snowsports School program is recognized as a leader in providing first class instruction and training to people of all disabilities both physical and cognitive. We provide instruction in alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. Rental equipment is based on availability as most is revered with the lessons.

Full Day Lesson

Half Day Lessons (AM/PM)

Adaptive 3-Day First Time Series

Offered value weeks only.

• Three days of all-day private lessons, equipment and 3-day beginner lift ticket.

• Must be used within a 5-day period
• Offered at Vail only.

Ski Buddy Program
Vail can provide a trained guide to assist the more experienced disabled skiers. The guide would help with chair lift loading, integration into children's ski school classes and for general orientation on the mountain. Please note this service should not be utilized in place of a ski lesson or a personal aid.We require a minimum of 48 hours advanced notification if you are requesting ski buddy assistance. $45 for an Adaptive Ski Buddy pass (with a Snowsports School lesson) and $86 for an Adaptive Ski Buddy (without a Snowsports School lesson).
