Vail Film Festival

April 2 -5, 2009

Come to the 6th Annual Vail Film Festival April 2-5. The Festival will screen over 50 films during the Festival weekend, with world premieres, filmmaker Q&As, parties, panel discussions, and special presentations. The Festival programs films, parties, and events in the afternoon and evening, giving everyone a chance to hit the slopes during the day, and unwind with films and parties at night.

Filmmaker Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Zack and Miri) will receive the 2009 Renegade Award, and actress Michelle Monaghan (Mission Impossible III, Gone Baby Gone, Eagle Eye) will receive the 2009 Excellence in Acting Award.

Other attending celebrities include actor Jason Biggs (American Pie, Eight Below, My Best Friend's Girl), actress Tricia O'Kelley (CBS' The New Adventures of Old Christine), actress Kaitlin Olson (FX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), actress Julie Benz (Showtime's Dexter), actor Rhys Coiro (HBO's Entourage, Fox's 24), , actor Tom Everett Scott (That Thing You Do!, An American Werewolf in Paris, Boiler Room), actress Ashley Jensen (ABC’s Ugly Betty), and actor Giancarlo Esposito (Do the Right Thing, Smoke, The Usual Suspects, Derailed, Last Holiday, Gospel Hill).
